BIOGRAFIA

 

JOLIE (Celia Fox), nació en Sabadell (Barcelona – España) un 29 de diciembre de 1984 bajo el signo de capricornio.

Amante de la música de baile, entre sus preferencias: el house, tecno, dance y el R&B.

Sus comienzos como vocalista se remontan al año 2002 en la que puso voz en la nueva versión del tema “Bizarre Love Triangle”, producido por el DJ Jose María Castells,

Entre sus muchas colaboraciones destaca en el 2005 una con el DJ y productor italiano Francesco Farfa, interpretando el tema “Changing Shapes” del proyecto Human Bridge.

Un año más tarde, despierta su faceta como letrista y comienza a cantar sus propios temas.

Proyectos como Dani V feat. Leo Sayer “Tonight is enough” (2006) se incluyen en los principales recopilatorios de música de baile españoles (Disco Estrella – Supermodelos)
O junto al DJ Robbie Moroder “Miami Beach” o “Party Stars”

Aunque su punto álgido llegó a finales del 2008 de la mano del DJ y director del World Dance Music (40 Principales-Máxima FM) Luís López, que versionó su tema “You’ll Be Mine”, el cual exportó internacionalmente a recopilatorios y pistas de baile. Incluso los productores D.O.N.S realizaron una versión remix.

Dicho éxito le proporciona numerosas actuaciones en principales discotecas españolas y conciertos con el Tour World Dance Music.

A mediados del 2009 las casualidades hacen que conozca al compositor y productor musical Crister García, el cual le propone iniciar un proyecto dance ambicioso, lo que a la postre se convertiría en JOLIE. En él se fusionaría el dance comercial europeo con temas clásicos de los 80’s y nuevos temas originales.

 

A JOLIE le entusiasmó la idea y comenzaron en lo que sería la producción del primer single “OURAGAN / IRRESISTIBLE”. Canción original interpretada en francés e inglés por la princesa Estefanía de Mónaco.

El proyecto llega en el 2010 a la discográfica Blanco y Negro y lo hace suyo, como uno de los temas principales del año. Del single se hace un videoclip y varios remixes.

 

Tras su primer single, lanzan el segundo “CALL ME“ un tema original, que sigue la línea del anterior, aunque algo más cañero.

 

En el 2011 su productor Crister Garcia es nominado como Mejor Arreglista por el tema "IRRESISTIBLE" en los Premios de la Música 2011.

 

La estela de JOLIE no ha hecho más que comenzar.

JOLIE (Celia Fox) was born in Sabadell (Barcelona – Spain) on December 29th, 1984, so she is Capricorn.

Lover of dance music, she prefers house, techno, dance and R&D

Her beginning as vocalist was on 2002 when she song the new version of the sing “Bizarre Love Triangle”, produced by DJ Jose María Castells.

Among several cooperation shined on 2005 one production with Italian producer Francesco Farfa, when she song the sing “Changing Shapes” from the project Human Bridge.

One year late, she awaked her side as lyrics and she started to sing her own songs.

Projects as Dani V feat Leo Sayer “Tonight is
enough”(2006) was included in the most important Spanish RECOPILATORIS of dance music (Disco Estrella, Supermodelos) or with DJ Robbie Moroder “Miami Beach” or “Party Stars”

But her best moment arrived by the end of 2008 through the DH and Wold Dance Music’ sidrector (40 Principales-Maxima FM) Luís López, that covered his own song “You’ll Be Mine”, which was exported around the world to different compilations and dance floors. Even more, producers D.O.N.S. made their own remix version.

Such success song, gave to her a lot of performances in the main important Spanish discotheques and concerts with Tour World Dance Music.

By the middle of 2009 she met with composer and music producer Crister Garcia who proposed to her begins together an ambitious dance project that will become JOLIE. At this project, it will be fused nowadays commercial European dance with 80’s classics songs as well some new original songs.

 

JOLIE got enthusiastic with this great idea and they began working in the production of the first single “OURAGAN/IRRESISTIBLE”. The original song was sung in French and English by princess Stephanie of Monaco.

On 2010 such projects arrives to Spanish discography Blanco y Negro and they get it, proposing as one of the most important songs of the year making a video clip and some new remixes.

 

After the first single, arrives the second one “CALL ME“ as original song, which is similar to the previous one but a litter more strong.

 

In 2011 her producer Crister Garcia is nominated as Best Arranger for the track "IRRESISTIBLE "at the Premios de la Música (Spanish Music Awards).
